Established in 1865 is dediacted to exploring, creating, and curating the stories of Black personhood--from the past, in the present, and into the future. How to Black people live and love in the West, a civilization that did not have our living and loving in mind when white people created it through the triangle trade and slavery? I write fiction, think pieces, cultural analysis, and deeply reseached longform to document my people's fractured response to that inquiry.
I write for our enslaved dead and their descendants. May their delayed justice come into this world. May we not have to wait till the next for its arrival.
